Mayor Chris Lindley honors Terrance Dye with Key to the City of Booneville
Booneville’s Terrance Dye is an award winning published author with several books of poetry and personal reflections to his name. He is also a fashion model who has appeared in numerous magazines, online publications and advertisements. Dye is also a fashion consultant who has helped celebrities including professional athletes and musicianship well as regular individuals find the personal look that makes them look and feel their most confident. The Booneville High School graduate has spent his life following his dreams and focusing on helping others achieve theirs through faith in God and belief in themselves.
Asya Branch, Miss USA 2020, is a native of Booneville, MS. She served as Miss Mississippi America 2018 and as Miss Mississippi USA 2019. In November 2020, she was crowned Miss USA, achieving her life dream. Asya's platform is to help children with incarcerated parents. She is a advocate for reentry of formally incarcerated people. She has a zest for life and a kind spirit. She makes all of us so proud! Congratulations, Miss Asya Branch on being Miss USA 2020.
